Updated and with a my tagline ^^

btw for those not yet informed my company (or whatever it is), Immortal Innocence, is like a a trading post kinda...like it shows links and what not to other things related to it in addition to some of its own stuff...basically it sells like, graphic novels, posters, and that sort of thing, and of course, takes a cut out of the profits from the things sold in the links.  These include a lot of semi-related things of many various different kinds, but all targeting the same basic audiences. (More on this subject later...maybe.)  Oh yeah and in case you haven't figured it out yet it is primarily online based, perhaps it will grow into the real world at some point, but that would be later...

week 7

I learned how to work with the layer effects (well i had the general idea before but...)  I also learned more about the gradient tool.  Outside of class I learned more about the actual application process of drawing hands and feet, and also that you should not point out all of the mistakes you made to people, because most of the time they will not notice them.  (The specific incident I am referring to would be that I drew one of my characters and accidentally gave him two left feet...but until I pointed it out, nobody really noticed.)

week 5

Well....I've been sick most of this week...but it looks like we did some pretty interesting stuff.  The valentines tutorial wasn't (and still isn't) really my thing but it was interesting.  The watercolor tutorial seems fun so far so that's good.  Also, just as a random note...it was my birthday yesterday ^^

I totally don't know what else to say so...

p01 and 02 principles of design

Week 2- What I learned this week...

Well, I learned how to make a lens flare and a star field...although I'm not entirely sure i could duplicate everything but I think I could get fairly close...probably.  I learned more about levels and also blending modes, filters, and layer adjustments.  Ummm...don't know what else to say.....I learned other things too...but I dont know what all else it was so...

selection tools

As you can see, the magic wand tool did not work well for me.  I'm am certain I could have done a lot better with it, but I ran out of time.  There was too much detail in this picture for the magic wand tool to work effectively. 

The quick selection tool worked fairly well, but I don't think that it was the best choice for this picture either.

The elliptical marquee tool worked well in the sense that it didn't leave anything out, but it included more from the background than I would've liked.

Over all this the Lasso tool worked the best for this image, at least for me.  I think this tool would probably work well for most selections, so long as you're willing to devote the time necessary.
